When an up-and-coming director consumed by his fear of a sophomore slump decides to cast a terminally ill actress in his next movie, their lives will change forever in Our Movie, a new Korean series coming June 13 to Disney+.
Set across 12 episodes, Our Movie follows Lee Jeha, the son of a famed filmmaker, as he struggles to avoid the sophomore slump following the huge success of his debut movie. After finally committing to make his next movie, Jeha casts terminally ill aspiring actress Lee Daeum in a lead role, sending shockwaves through the industry. As they struggle to complete the film, the two form an unexpected bond, growing closer and working through past traumas together in this moving story of love and friendship.
Starring Namkoong Min (One Dollar Lawyer, My Dearest) as Lee Jeha, an up-and-coming director, and Jeon Yeobeen (Vincenzo, Harbin) as Lee Daeum, an aspiring actress with a terminal illness, Our Movie is written by Han Gaeun and Kang Kyungmin and is directed by Lee Junghum (Inspector Koo, Nobody Knows).
