POWER, AMBITION AND BETRAYAL TAKE CENTER STAGE IN UPCOMING K-DRAMA “BURIED HEARTS” – LANDING FEBRUARY 21 ON DISNEY+

When a political investigation uncovers corruption and embezzlement at a leading Korean conglomerate, a scheming executive attempts to curry favor in Buried Hearts, a new political revenge drama coming this February 21 to Disney+.

A controversial energy project has brought the multinational Daesan Group into the spotlight. Accused of mismanagement, embezzlement and corruption, with two trillion won of government funding missing, the company finds itself under investigation by Korea’s National Assembly. Seeing the investigation as an opportunity to advance his career and one day take control of the company, morally ambiguous Daesan Group executive Seo Dongju begins bribing, blackmailing and employing other illicit means to save the Group and establish himself as an irreplaceable part of the company.

Starring Park Hyungsik (Soundtrack #1, Happiness, Suits) as scheming executive Seo Dongju; Huh Joonho (Bloodhounds, Why Her) as manipulative professor and powerbroker Yeom Jangseon; Hong Hwayeon (True to Love, Mental Coach Jegal) as Yeo Eunnam and Lee Haeyoung (Vigilante, Bloodhounds) as Huh Ildo, Buried Hearts is written by Lee Myeonghee (Money Flower, Jang Yeongsil) and directed by Jin Changkyoo (Military Prosecutor Doberman, Bad Papa).

After a binge-fueled 2024 that saw breakout Korean series take home a wealth of awards, 2025 on Disney+ promises audiences so much more.
