Lee Junho Makes Major Real Estate Investment in Gangnam
2PM's Lee Junho has added a prestigious property to his portfolio, purchasing a commercial building in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul. According to real estate insiders, Junho acquired the building on March 12, 2024, for a hefty 17.5 billion won (approximately $12.8 million USD).
The building, located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, boasts a basement floor and four stories above ground, covering a total area of 830.8 square meters. Its current tenants include offices, a brunch cafe, a nail shop, and a ballet academy.
The building's prime location on Apgujeong Rodeo Street, just a 5-minute walk from Apgujeong Rodeo Station, ensures high foot traffic throughout the week. This strategic location, coupled with the building's size and diverse tenants, makes it a lucrative investment.
The property was previously owned by the late actress Kang Soo Yeon, who purchased it for 8 billion won in 2017. The building has a security deposit of 200 million won and a monthly rent of 20 million won, making it a steady source of income for Junho.
Building Lab Real Estate Agency manager Park Ji Eun notes that the area is poised for significant development due to the redevelopment of apartments in Apgujeong-dong. This further strengthens the investment potential of Junho's new acquisition.
This strategic real estate purchase marks a significant milestone for Junho, showcasing his astute business acumen and commitment to long-term investment. Fans and industry insiders alike are eager to see how Junho will utilize this valuable asset in the future.
