South Korean Shooter Kim Yeji Steals the Show at Olympics with Cyberpunk Style

 

Kim Yeji, a 31-year-old South Korean shooter making her Olympic debut in Paris, has become an internet sensation for her cool, futuristic style. 

With her white baseball cap, black Fila anorak, track pants, and custom red-laced shooting shoes, she looks like a sci-fi assassin straight out of a cyberpunk novel. Her signature shooting glasses, with flippable hinged lenses and a vintage silhouette, have been particularly popular online, with fans creating fan art, video edits, and even a KnowYourMeme entry.

 Yeji's performance on the range is equally impressive, as she took home silver in the women's 10-meter air pistol event. Her teammate, Oh Ye Jin, who won gold in the same event, is also known for her stylish approach, with rose-pink decorated pistols and aviator-shaped shooting lenses. 

While both athletes are making waves in the world of competitive shooting, it's Kim Yeji's unique blend of athleticism and cyberpunk style that has truly captured the internet's attention.

Beyond her cool fashion choices, Kim is a force to be reckoned with on the shooting range. Her focus and precision are evident in her performance, and she's already earned a gold medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she set a new world record.
